Class hours: 1.0 Lecture/2.0 Laboratory Prerequisite: Audition Recommendation: MUS 160 or equivalent with a grade of Pass or "C" or higher. This course in drum and bugle corps is designed for the student desiring to enter the fields of music and pageantry education and performance. Opportunities are provided for practical experience in organizing marching and pageantry combinations of all styles and sizes. Training is given in standard drum and bugle corps format. Nationally known clinicians may assist with the group, and opportunities are provided to perform learned material. This course may be taken for a maximum of 4 times. Transfer Credit: CSU
