Class hours: 3.0 Lecture/1.0 Laboratory This course introduces the student to the expanding legal area of elder law. Topics include ethical considerations, government benefits, health care decision making, Medicare and Medi-Cal benefits, home care versus residential care facilities, and protection from physical and/or fiduciary abuse.
