Class hours: 0.5 Lecture The Basic Life Support for Healthcare Provider course is designed to meet the needs of healthcare professionals who respond to cardiac and respiratory emergencies. Content includes initial management of cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, and airway obstruction in the infant, child and adult populations as well as two rescuers CPR, and use of automated external defibrillator (AED). This course may be taken for a maximum of 4 times. This course is offered on a Credit/No Credit basis only.
