Class hours: 3.3 Lecture/9.8 Laboratory Prerequisite: COS 52C or COS 62B or 70C or COS 73B with a grade of Pass or "C" or higher. This is an advanced course designed to permit the student to complete 1600 hours necessary to take the State Board of Cosmetology examination. It provides an opportunity for the student to continue developing manipulative skills in hairstyling, hair coloring, permanent waving, chemical straightening, scalp treatments, facials, waxing, manicuring, pedicuring, and thermal styling. This course may be taken a maximum of 3 times as necessary to complete 1600 hours.
