Class hours: 2.5 Lecture/1.0 Laboratory Prerequisite: Satisfactory completion of the English Placement Process or ENGL 52 or equivalent with a grade of Pass or "C" or higher. This course is an introduction to the study of natural disasters, including how the origins are explained by atmospheric disturbances and plate tectonics, and how new knowledge can be applied to the betterment of human welfare.
