Class hours: 1.0 Lecture/0.5 Laboratory Recommendation: Concurrent enrollment in one of the following courses: BCOM 45, 147, 148, 150, or 152. This course reinforces the critical writing skills involved in preparing effective business messages through hands-on experience in using the microcomputer. Students will use primary-computer-applications skills in word processing, spreadsheet, data management, graphics, and desktop publishing to solve communication problems in the production of typical business documents, including letters, memoranda, reports, resumes, and proposals. The applications in this course are carefully designed to correlate with the content coverage of primary business communication texts. Transfer Credit: CSU
