Class hours: 2.0 Lecture/3.0 Laboratory Prerequisite: CDSA 155 or equivalent with a grade of Pass or "C" or higher. This course provides practical experiences in an extended child care program. It provides the opportunity to assist the teacher in the Center by planning, preparing, and implementing activities with school-age children. Students will also explore guidance techniques, room environment, tutoring, record keeping, and other extended child care responsibilities. This course meets the Department of Social Services Classification Indicator DS 5. Transfer Credit: CSU
