This course provides an introduction to the fundamentals of the JAVA Programming Language, problem solving and algorithm development, simple data types, arithmetic and logic operators, selection structures, repetition structures, text files, arrays, classes, methods, applets and fundamentals of Object-Oriented programming. Prerequisite: Exit from Learning Support Reading, English and Mathematics and MATH 1111; 1113, CSCI 1135 or permission of the instructor.
