Description:

Sight-singing and ear training focuses on the development of the student's ability to read, comprehend, and perform standard music notation at sight, without rehearsal. Studies include scales, interval recognition, sight-singing, exercises in rythmic, melodic, and harmonic dictation. Actual examples from music literature are perused. Prerequisite: MUSC 1101 or MUSC 1111.
