This course is a functional approach to algebra that incorporates the use of appropriate technology. Emphasis is placed on the study of functions and their graphs, inequalities, and linear, quadratic, rational, polynomial, exponential, and logarithmic functions. Appropriate applications are included. Prerequisite: Exit or exemption from Learning Support Mathematics and satisfactory performance of MATH 1111 Placement Examination.
