Topics include: computer arithmetic, analog to digital and digital to analog conversion, microcomputer architecture, counters, up/down, multiplexer/demultiplexer, and decoders/encoders. Laboratory work parallels class work and reinforces building, testing/troubleshooting digital circuits, in addition to simulations with DesignWorks, and PLD programming using Altera hardware/software.
