Co-requisite: CP102 This course introduces students to the fundamental concepts and de ning characteristics of data base management systems design. Emphasis will be placed upon the combination of practical database design principles and experience through analysis of case studies. Students will study the relational, network, and client server models of data base systems in the multi-user environment. Exercises will be drawn from MS Access and SQL Server.
