Prerequisite: Placement Exam This course provides extensive practice in reading comprehension, writing, and editing to prepare the student for the demands of college-level composition and reading skills. Students learn the conventions of essay writing by utilizing a variety of rhetorical forms and techniques. Students develop an understanding of the use of critical analysis in reading comprehension. The use of the library and its facilities is presented.
