Class hours: 3.0 Lecture This is an introductory course that explains the principles of parole and probation as a governmental function at the federal, state, and local criminal justice systems. This course is designed to show the relationship between the police and the courts, and the effects of sentencing with regards to parole, probation, and incarceration in local and state facilities.
