Class hours: 3.0 Lecture This course is an in-depth study of the California Vehicle Code, the enforcement of basic traffic laws, selective enforcement, public relations, highway safety engineering, and violator contact. Also included are accident investigation, skid mark analysis, preservation of evidence, hit and run investigation, the intoxicated driver, enforcement methods and psychology, and specialized traffic enforcement units.
