Class hours: 3.0 Laboratory Corequisite: Concurrent enrollment in or prior completion of ART 218 or ART 219 or equivalent with a grade of Pass or "C" or higher. This is a lab course intended to complement advanced courses in the Printmaking curriculum. It is designed to give practical experience in working with the techniques of relief printing, intaglio (etching, aquatint, drypoint, softground, viscosity, and photoetching), screenprinting and photoscreenprinting, collagraphy, embossing, monotype and digital imagemaking in conjunction with the traditional printmaking techniques. The course will increase the skill and creative output of the student in areas of his/her choice. This course may be taken for a maximum of 4 times. Transfer Credit: CSU
