4 credits quarters: S The purpose of this course is to prepare students for inquiry into the social sciences. It will examine the language, logic, and methods of the social science distribution courses and will expose students to the types of questions posed by the various disciplines. It will emphasize practicing academic skills and learning the basic concepts and methodology necessary for successful study of these disciplines.
