3 credits quarters: W This course is designed to teach the student basic principles of patient care as it applies to radiology. The student will obtain basic knowledge of patient interaction, patient history, transport, emergency situations, basic laboratory tests, medical/surgical asepsis, venipuncture, contrast media administration, pharmacokinetics, and pharmacology. This course meets the WAC 246-12-260 education standard for HIV/AIDS education. Prerequisite: Admission to the Radiologic Sciences Program
