2 credits quarters: W Advanced basketball skills and techniques course that meets on a daily basis during winter quarter only; basketball rules, their interpretation and application; organized and officiated contests on a regular basis. The student will participate in an organized, educational community service event to assist in instructing developmental athletes techniques and skills. Flexible schedule is necessary as class meets daily, some evenings, and weekends. Prerequisite: High school or summer program experience in organized basketball and permission of instructor.
