2 credits quarters: S This course explores veterinary technician nursing skills such as injections, IV catheter placement, blood collection, advanced enteral techniques, urinary catheter placement, cystocentesis. It also provides information on fluid therapy, care of recumbent and geriatric patients, physical therapy, and neonatal care. Concurrent enrollment in VET 161 is required. Prerequisite: VET 110, 114/115 and 120/121, or permission of instructor.
