6 credits quarters: F, W, S This course provides clinical application of theoretical concepts in the nursing care of individuals who are experiencing multidimensional alterations in wellness. Clinical experiences in acute and long-term care are included. A precepted clinical practicum is also incorporated. The course emphasizes the use of the nursing process to develop individualized nursing care plans for patients across the lifespan. The concepts of communication, lifespan, legal/ethical issues, pharmacology, nutrition, leadership, safety, health teaching, and culture are included. Prerequisite: NRSE 220 and 221, and concurrent registration in or previous completion of NRSE 230
