The topics will include multicultural education and issues, including diversity and anti-bias curriculum; special-needs children (education) and inclusion; family systems today; and child abuse/violence. Emphasis will be placed on the current issues and trends in each area as well as resources available to ECED professionals. Prerequisite: Qualification for ENGL 075 and READ 081
