2 credits quarters: S A seminar course facilitated by a dental hygienist and a specialist in periodontics. After completion of initial therapy, the student will prepare a case workup and write an analogous research paper for one of two required periodontal seminar-type patients. Oral presentations will be included in the periodontal seminar course. Prerequisite: Completion of the first five quarters of the dental hygiene curriculum
