5 credits quarters: F, W, S, SR Designed to acquaint the non-science major with chemical principles and serve as the prerequisite for those students wishing to continue with CHEM 109 or CHEM& 141, but who have not had high school chemistry. CHEM 100 is a one-quarter introduction to chemistry. The instruction methods include lecture, small group discussion, and presentation. 5 lecture hours, no lab.
