5 credits quarters: F Covers marketing and business activities concerned with the planning of product, place, promotion, and distribution of goods and services. Fundamental principles and business cases are combined so that the students may understand more clearly the functioning of marketing in our economy and the movement of goods and services from the producer to the consumer. Prerequisite: YVCC placement into READ 101 or permission of instructor. Common Course Numbers include the symbol (&) and are used at all Washington community and technical colleges to identify equivalent courses.
