5 credits quarters: F, W, S, SR This course is an integration of basic structures and functions of the human body with disease processes that can affect body systems. This is the first of two Human Body in Health and Disease classes and includes an introduction to cellular function as well as the anatomy and physiology of the integumentary, skeletal, muscular, sensory, and digestive systems. Included are the diagnostic tests, treatments, and possible prognoses for common disease processes that can affect each of these systems. Prerequisite: BTECH 104, IT 105, and permission of instructor
