Introduction to selected concepts related to the role of the associate degree nurse as a provider of care, coordinator of care, and member of the profession. Review of trends and issues impacting nursing and health care today and in the future. Topics include knowledge, judgment, skill, and professional values within a legal/ethical framework. Prerequisites: RNSG 1260, RNSG 1205, RNSG 1513, RNSG 1301, RNSG 1441, RNSG 1461, RNSG 2213, RNSG 2161 RNSG 1251, RNSG 2262, RNSG 2201 and RNSG 2263 with a grade of "C" or better.
