Designed for students requiring remediation in basic mathematical operations. Topics may include basic arithmetic skills in integers, fractions, and decimals; percentages, ratios, proportions, rates, variations, exponents, scientific notation, basic geometry, simple graphs, word problems, polynomials, equations, inequalities, factoring, algebraic functions, graphing, systems of equations, and quadratics. This course or its equivalent is mandated for all students who have not passed the math section of the THEA; the course will not apply toward graduation requirements and will not transfer. A grade of C or above must be achieved in order to advance to Math 1332.
