Prerequisite: six semester hours each in editing and reporting, or program director's permission. One semester of prearranged work in operational activities in a designated enterprise cooperating with the mass communications program. Students will obtain professional work experience and will be responsible for periodic reports and appraisals as required by the instructor. No class hours are to be met; conferences are arranged. May be repeated once with permission of department head and program director. Fall, spring, summer. Course fee $12.
