Advanced study of hightech and low-tech assistive devices used by students with physical, sensory and/or mental disabilities. Keyboard alternatives and emulators, construction of keyboard and communication overlays, switch construction, toy adaptation, environmental controls, and other communication devices. Instructional planning for using devices across multiple settings will be learned. Fall. Course fee $30.
