Students who score below 18 on the English section of the ACT (or 440, SAT verbal) are assigned to this course which must be successfully completed before registering in ENGL 1301. May not be counted toward baccalaureate degree requirements. Fall, spring. Course fee $10; ESLI course fee $100.
