Prerequisite: MATH 1314. Physical characteristics of sound and the structure and function of the human auditory system. Pathologies of the ear and disorders of hearing. Measurement of basic audiologic test battery, including audiograms, masking, speech recognition and immittance. Five hours of audiology observation required. Fall. Course fee $5.
