Examines the tactics employed by many non-profit groups in their activities, such as lobbying, community organizing, and examination and evaluation of public policy. The role of non-profit organizations, including members of Christian communities, as advocates for the less fortunate and those unable to speak for themselves. Discussions about religious organizations as the "public church." Requires experience in anon-profit organization for 4-8 hours per week.
