An introduction to the methodology and repertoire used by successful band directors in the instruction of beginning percussion performers. The instruction will include fundamental performing techniques for all percussion instruments. Students will performin a class setting with emphasis on practical applications in teaching situations. Additional private study of individual instruments is encouraged. Prerequisite: MUS 110.
