A hands-on class taught in the music technology lab. Emphasis will be on CAI (Composer Assisted Instruction), MIDI applications, keyboard and computer sequencing, the internet as a resource for the needs of musicians, and facility in using notation programs. The course will be project-oriented with emphasis on the practical uses of technology in educational settings. Prerequisite: MUS 111 and 131.
