Prerequisite: 1301, 1215, 1327, 1162, 1343, 1261, 2213, 1262, 2201, 2208, 2260, 2261 Co-requisite: RNSG 2262 A method of instruction providing detailed nursing education, training and work-based experience and direct patient/client care generally at a clinical site. Specifi c detailed learning objectives are developed for each course by the faculty. On-site clinical instruction, supervision, evaluation, and placement is the responsibility of the college faculty. Clinical experiences are unpaid external learning experiences. Course may be repeated if topics and learning outcomes vary. RNSG 2221 provides opportunities for the student to apply leadership and management principles applicable to the role of the associate degree nurse as a provider of care, coordinator of care and member of a profession.
