Prerequisite: Must read at 0302 level or above Co-requisite: Must enroll in ENG 0300 if below that level Fees: none This course covers the importance of safety, quality, and environmental awareness to the railroad industry and the basic tools and techniques for improving these conditions on the job. Upon successful completion of this course, students should be able to explain the need for safety, quality, and environmental awareness and describe their basic principles. A railroad's safety rules and hazardous material handling instructions will be studied as a class project.
