Prerequisite: Must read at 0302 level or above Co-requisite: Must enroll in ENG 0300 if below that level Fees: none This course covers the history and traditions of railroading and the industry's role in North American economic development. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to list and explain the signifi cance of major events in North American railroading. The General Code of Operating Rules has evolved as the standard set of rules for North American railroads and part of this will be studied as a class project.
