Prerequisite: 12th grade reading and writing. Acceptance into the Medical Transcription program and completion HITT 1305 and BIOL 2404 (or BIOL 2401 and 2402). Co-requisite: HITT 1311 Fees: Laboratory Fundamentals of medical transcription with a hands-on experience in transcribing physician dictation including basic reports such as history and physicals, discharge summaries, consultations, operative reports, and other medical reports. Utilizes transcribing and information processing equipment compatible with industry standards. Designed to develop speed and accuracy.
