Prerequisite: None An in-depth study of the teaching profession, focusing on foundations of American education, social and ethical issues, and classroom management techniques. Information regarding admission criteria for entry into teachercertification programs at area universities will be addressed. The course includes a minimum of 16 contact hours of fi eld experience (observations and interaction with students) in P-12 classrooms. REQUIRED FOR TEACHER EDUCATION MAJORS ENTERING ST.
