An introduction to VOR/LOC/GS/MB navigation system, aircraft transponder theory as they apply to aircraft transponder and Traffi c Collision Avoidance System (TCAS) systems, auto-pilot, Flight Management Systems (FMS), Ground Proximity Warning System (GPWS), Global Positioning System (GPS) systems and integrated aircraft avionics data bus architecture. This course also emphasizes the FCC components of transponder theory and aircraft navigation components that apply to the General Radiotelephone Operators License (GROL).
