Includes non-conventional management techniques such as high-fenced pens, wildlife nutritional requirements, wildlife behavior, handling techniques (with and without drugs), necropsy techniques, data collection procedures, genetic manipulation of target species (emphasizing herbivores--native and exotic species), disease identification, and permit acquisition. Also covers facility design and maintenance, judging quality of target species, handling of harvested animals, photographic skills, and ethical treatment of animals. Two lecture and two laboratory hours per week. TSI Requirement: M2; R2; W1. Prerequisite: WMGT 2305, BIOL 1413. Lab Fee: $24
