Continuation of Medical-Surgical Nursing I with application of the nursing process to the care of adult patients experiencing medical-surgical conditions along the health-illness continuum in a variety of health care settings. Principles of leadership and management are included. Topics include the role of the licensed vocational nurse in the multi-disciplinary health care team; professional organizations; and continuing education. This course must be passed with at least a "C" in order to graduate. This is a capstone course that consolidates the student's learning experience. Four lecture hours per week. TSI Requirement: M3; R3; W2. Prerequisite: VNSG 1116, VNSG 2331, VNSG 1323, VNSG 1122, VNSG 1136, VNSG 1329, VNSG 1126, VNSG 1227, and VNSG 1360.
