Utilization of the nursing process in the assessment and management of the childbearing family. Emphasis is on the bio-psycho-socio-cultural needs of the family during the phases of pregnancy, childbirth, and the neonatal period including abnormal conditions. This course must be passed with at least a "C" in order to graduate. Two lecture hours per week. TSI Requirement: M3; R3; W2.
