Introduction to the concepts which provide a foundation for continued study of geography. Includes the different elements of natural environment as related to human activities, modes of living, and map concepts. Emphasis is on physical geography. A course in the study of relation between man's physical environment-land forms, water bodies, minerals, climate- and his reaction to these natural forces as manifested by his occupation, racial status, and his religious contacts.
