Includes overview of business operations, analysis of the specialized fields within the business organization, and development of a business vocabulary. A basic course in the fundamentals of business. The course is intended to give an overview of business and to develop an understanding of the realistic problems and practices of business. It includes a study of business organizations and operations, business functions, and various areas of business such as forms of organization, entrepreneurship, basic accounting and financial management, human resource development and management, business ethics and law, product marketing and distribution, and electronic commerce.
