Career-related activities encountered in the student's area of specialization offered through an individualized agreement among the college, employer, and student. Under the supervision of the college and the employer, the student combines classroom learning with work experience. Includes a lecture component. Directly related to a technical discipline, specific learning objectives guide the student through the work experience. This is an in-service course which means the student must be employed in a law enforcement capacity that becomes the focus of the cooperative education experience. This course may be repeated if topics and learning outcomes vary. One lecture and seven external hours per week. TSI Requirement: M1; R2; W1. Prerequisite: A.A.S. in Law Enforcement or equivalent. Co-op Fee: $24
