Survey course introducing chemistry. Topics may include inorganic, organic, biochemistry, food/physiological chemistry, and environmental/consumer chemistry. Designed for non-science and allied health students. This course is designed especially for students of business and liberal arts. The work of the course covers the fundamentals of general chemistry and the descriptive chemistry of non-metals. (May not be used in chemistry major sequence.)
