(Prerequisite: CTD 101) Basic operation focuses on familiarizing students with truck instruments and controls and on performing basic maneuvers required to drive safely in a controlled environment. After theoretical classroom instruction, each student will receive the opportunity to not only learn techniques but to practice until they are proficient. Topics include: coupling and uncoupling, operating a tractor-trailer through skill maneuvers, and night time driving (4 nights).
