This course provides the welding student with advanced topics involving the welding of pipe utilizing the shielded arc welding process. Review topics include electrode selection, equipment setup and safe shop practices. Emphasis is placed on weld positions 5G and 6G using various electrodes. Semester Hours: 4 Lecture Hours: 2 Lab Hours: 8 Pre-requisite: WLDG 2406.
